Résumé

Voltalia, a company specialising in renewable energies, has grown significantly in recent years. Initially, the commissioning of several power stations enabled it to multiply its installed capacity. Subsequently, it has made a number of major acquisitions, which have considerably boosted its turnover. However, Voltalia has also faced challenges, including periods of net losses and environmental controversies. Despite this, the company has maintained its commitment to CSR, implementing policies such as a profit-sharing agreement for employees and signing partnerships to supply renewable energy. Its shareholding and extra-financial rating have also evolved over time, reflecting its commitment to ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria. Voltalia's story highlights the challenges and successes faced by companies operating in the renewable energy sector and raises questions about how they can effectively integrate social and environmental concerns into their business strategy.
