Résumé

This case addresses a current issue. The data are real but simplified and anonymized. The student must calculate the carbon footprint of a simplified wine supply chain thanks to a CO2equivalent calculator. Then, the student evaluates and gives some recommendations to render more sustainable the wine supply chain.

This cas has been actualized in 2023.

Objectifs pédagogiques

The learning goals of this case are to:
- Aware the students to the sustainable impacts of a supply chain.
- Learn how to calculate a carbon footprint.
- Learn how to evaluate a supply chain through the three pillars of sustainability.
- Search some innovative solutions to render more sustainable a supply chain.
