This case study in finance includes 3 mini-cases of companies from various real-life contexts and focuses mainly on financing policy and its determinants.
The case provides an opportunity to review different financing options and study the factors that influence financial policy choices. Three publicly listed companies are presented, from different industry sectors, each with its unique specificities (sale and rental of medical equipment, champagne, biotech). The companies have different ownership structures and investment policies, allowing the student to make the link between theory and practice, giving meaning to knowledge in this area.
