This case describes the partnership between the German Bundesliga team FC Bayern Munich AG and the state owned Qatar Airways. The case focuses on how the football club has been accused by its fans and the media of being sportswashed by the Qatari government. The case raises questions about companies engaging and operating in countries or with organizations with records of human rights abuses, and about leadership style and authority. Objectifs pédagogiques
