When looking to expand internationally, companies face a number of financial challenges.

This case study follows the actions of Alan, CFO of Merien, a French company specializing in construction equipment, as it seeks to develop its international business in a variety of ways.
Firstly, with the acquisition of a competitor in Switzerland, which brings to the fore cross-border acquisition and tax issues.
Then, with the creation of a marketing subsidiary in Dubai, for which Alan had to understand all the legal and fiscal particularities of this market.
Finally, Alan will study the possibilities of offering an export finance solution for a tender in Oman.
