Résumé

The case study features a role play for students to simulate a multi-stakeholder negotiation. It presents the Global Play Foundation's projects in Mali and problematizes that the director needs to negotiate the foundation's budget for the following year. For this she invites several stakeholders around the table to try to find an agreement that responds to various needs of local actors. The idea is to get students familiarized with the cultural context and think creatively to find an agreement between multiple, at times conflicting, stakeholder interests which will best achieve the end objective of improving quality education of children in Mali. Obtaining a quality education is one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
