E-Solution was founded in July 2011. After a few years, E-Solution built a reputation in France as a leader in online customer relationship management. Given the rapid increase in the number of employees, the company needed to adapt its structure by creating new process, new HRM and management methods always more effective in order to maintain a very high quality service to its customers while promoting the commitment of employees.
How to maintain the growth of the company while maintaining a start-up spirit? Are innovative managerial and HRM tools sufficient to support this growth phase?

Objectifs pédagogiques

This case is suited to two types of teaching objectives:
- Acquisition of new knowledge:
Discover innovative, post-bureaucratic management and HRM practices that exemplify value-based management along with HRM practices that favour employee commitment.
Learn about management and HRM practices in a growth start-up.
Understand the link between management and HRM practices and firm growth.
- Acquisition of behavioural skills: Analysis (factual and critical), and synthesis of a real work situation.
