AEGEAN AIR: Risk management in an air transport company

Aegean Air is a case study dealing with the leading Greek air carrier. As so, the company has a full risk management system in full conformity with European and Greek regulations. The main objective of this case is to offer students and instructors the possibility to apply the full process of risk management in a company of the Air carrier sector. From risk mapping (based on the available information) to risk management techniques including: risk monitoring, risk assessment matrix, risk control documentation.
It also shows the importance of internal audit service in risk management. In this case, the operational risk management is performed by this specific service.
