Résumé
FairVenue, a leading European event company, is acquiring Do Brazil, a Brazilian event organizer, to estabish a presence in Latin America ahead of the 2030 World Expo. This case follows Solène, FairVenue's International Director, as she prepares her post-merger integration plan for the weekend. The case is designed to help students grasp the complexities of post-merger integration, offering practical insights into leadership, decision-making, organisational change, and global expansion strategies in M&A. It is important to note that the case has been written by the executive in charge of the integration of the company that we study in the UK and Brazil, so that all recommendations are based not on theory, but on real-life experience.
