You have been asked by the Ministry of Fisheries (MOF) of Poseidon to design a plan for optimal allocation of sardine catches between the five branches of the sardine sector. The new plan should be developed on the basis of a rigorous characterisation of the problem, and take into account any variation in the volume of catches. Furthermore, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the canning industry, Poseidon's MOF also requires you to develop an optimal organisation of supplies for the canning branch. The new supply organisation should build on the results from the optimal resource allocation plan and prove to be feasible.
